Irfan is a commercially driven, award-winning Finance Leader with 30+ years of international experience, including senior leadership roles within PE-backed, multinational and high-growth manufacturing businesses across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia and North America.

He brings extensive experience operating at executive and Topco level, partnering with CEOs, COOs, Boards and Private Equity sponsors to improve performance, unlock cash, navigate complex change and build finance functions capable of supporting ambitious growth.

Most recently, as VP Finance for a PE-backed global aerospace business, Irfan operated at the intersection of finance, operations and strategy. His work included supporting a $900m debt repricing, delivering $13m of annual interest savings, and partnering with operations to unlock $40m of free cash through inventory and operational improvements.

Irfan combines strategic CFO-level thinking with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. He is particularly effective in businesses undergoing transformation, experiencing rapid growth, preparing for a transaction, or seeking to improve operational and financial performance.

His track record includes leading finance across a global organisation, supporting multiple divestments and M&A processes, turning around underperforming operations, establishing finance functions from the ground up and helping businesses achieve significant growth.

He has helped drive 120% turnover growth over three years for a family-owned business, as well as establishing the finance function for a new Philippines operation from the ground up.
